Oct. 18, 2008 - The vibrant orange and red leaves of a fall upon us dropped from the boughs when a gust picked up. The weatherman was calling for good stuff today—sunny, in the upper 70s.
I was inclined, however, to believe the weatherman drank as much as my friends and I did the night before since it was barely 50-degrees, gray and overcast.
Watching the leaves blow across my front lawn, I wondered if any course would be clear enough for a complete round of golf. As it were, we should be lucky to be on the links so late in the year.

Special to AcrossRoss.com
August 04, 2008 - As August approaches and the dreaded (for the kids) back-to-school shopping season begins, the shopping excursions to get the hottest, cutest, trendy fashions will go into high gear.

I will admit to being guilty of wearing the pants back in the day, but as I look back at pictures, they were not attractive at all…
